Warner Bros. fires Charlie Sheen
Los Angeles Times | March 7, 2011 | 1:55 p.m.
Warner Bros., producers of the hit CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men," has fired Charlie Sheen from the show.
In a statement, the studio said, "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on "Two and a Half Men" effective immediately."
The move comes after several weeks of public battles between Sheen, Warner Bros., CBS and Chuck Lorre, the show's executive producer and co-creator.
